Its been raining for a week here at Montevideo, which is a good opportunity to keep focused on work without distractions. September started nice, with a lot of work rolling on from August. Tincho has proclaimed our 8 Core MacPro HD edit suite as his office while he works on numerous tapes for UPM over footage we shot last month in Fraybentos, Rio Negro.
Diego is constantly working at different projects in the double edit lab, helping our intern Patxi with Rocket!, our extreme sports TV Show. At the same time, Diego edits Rugby Time on a weekly basis as well as other projects that come and go.
Downstairs Charly works on budgets, Matias edits a culinary coming-soon HD show, Gaby is constantly producing and Sole is at the phone.
Mate, coffee and tea keeps eveyone warm and cozy on just another rainy day, begining September at Microtime.tv

The 21st Punta del Este Seven a Side Rugby Challenge was held the 3rd and 4th of January at Maldonado’s Campus as usual, receiving rugby teams from all around the globe.

At Microtime, we were responsible for airing the championship to Fox Sports Argentina and Sky Italia with 1 different signal for each network. The games were covered by 6 cameras, 5 of which were replay available.
We also produced a TV Promo and a post-event resume portraying the spirit of the championship.

El pasado 3 y 4 de enero se realizó en el Campus Municipal de Maldonado la 21º edición del Seven de Punta del este con la presencia de los mejores equipos de la región y selecciones nacionales provenientes de distintos continentes.

Microtime realizó la transmisión de los 2 días de torneo, generando 2 señales distintas para Fox Sports y Sky Italia. La cobertura se realizó a 6 cámaras, 5 de las cuales se utilizaban para hacer replays. Al servicio se le anexó la realización de una promo del evento y un clip color con el espíritu del seven y de Punta del Este.

Best National Production – Tabaré Award (Travolta’s Girlfriends)

On December 9, Travolta’s Girlfriends (sitcom -Las Novias de Travolta) was awarded a Tabaré Award for Best National Production. This is an outstanding achievement due to the boom of national sitcoms that Uruguay has seen the last year.
We were responsible for post-production and network delivery of the 13 episode show.
Congratulations to all of us who were part of this project!!!

Premio Tabaré a la Mejor Producción Nacional (Las Novias de Travolta)

El pasado 9 de diciembre Las Novias de Travolta fue galardonado con el premio Tabaré a la Mejor Producción Nacional, premio más que importante debido al nuevo boom que se está dando en la televisión en nuestro país en lo que respecta a la producción de ficciones nacionales. Microtime formó parte del equipo que realizó “Las Novias” brindadno servicios de edición y post producción. A todos los que formamos parte de este proyecto van nuestras felicitaciones!!!!!
